While we lodge in rooms of mainly 2-4 people, we prepare our meals ourselves. A couple of years ago we did a tour of an abandoned mine, this year we have a disused railway tunnel on our list. While it is far off for a number of us, it is in a nice location, with Bad Grund having made the transition from an old mining town to a spa location, allowing for hiking and exploring. The Tomb Raider Meeting is an annual event that always takes place around May/June, in a group house we rent in Bad Grund (Harz) in Lower Saxony. As part of the organisational team providing fun things to do is my “job”, while others order our beverages, go shopping, and do other things that guarantee a flawless event. I will spend the rest of the day toady preparing for it, by creating a Tomb Raider version of a popular board game (I wont mention which, as not to spoil the surprise for attendees) and by adding new and exciting cards to our customised version of “Cards Against Humanity”. “ What’s a man got to do to get that kinda attention from ya?” is the perfect opening for a lot of CAH fun.
